Della Vite Rosé Prosecco showcases versatility

Launched in 2022 by the Delevingne sisters, Della Vite DOC Treviso Rosé Prosecco offers a taste of Italian summer in every pink sip.

Della Vite

Founded in 2020 by supermodel Cara Delevingne and her sisters, Chloe and Poppy, Della Vite was born in Valdobbiadene, Veneto, Italy, beneath the Dolomite mountains. In a region characterised by peaceful valleys and stunning skylines, Glera grapes have been cultivated since Roman times. The area can be considered central to Italy’s artisanal Prosecco wine culture, with much of it designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site to preserve its cultural and environmental significance.

Della Vite, which translates to ‘from the vine’ in Italian, combines traditional winemaking methods with innovative technology to offer a range of sustainably produced and 100% vegan Proseccos.

Two years after launching its Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Treviso Prosecco DOC, Della Vite expanded its range with a Rosé Prosecco DOC, made from 89% signature Glera grapes and 11% Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir). The grapes undergo a 90-day fermentation using natural, home-cultivated yeasts from the Valdobbiadene region, creating a creamy texture and fine bubbles.

Della Vite DOC Treviso Rosé Prosecco is an elegant pale coral pink rosé with an ABV of 11.5%. It features an aromatic bouquet of crushed wild berries and rhubarb, leading into a bright, clean palate that presents delicate fruit flavours reminiscent of the Italian summer. The versatile sparkling wine is perfect for a range of occasions, from al fresco lunches to late-night gatherings.

For ideal food pairings, Della Vite Rosé Prosecco complements fresh ceviche, baked cavolo nero, and nduja bruschetta beautifully. It also pairs wonderfully with desserts like mango sorbet or rhubarb panna cotta.

Charm offensive

The three sisters have made rapid progress in five years. The brand has maintained a schedule of new releases to keep up with the latest trends, as well as marketing activations that have driven the conversation.

In response to growing interest in no- and low alcohol options in wine, the Delevingne sisters launched a non-alcoholic sparkling rosé, Della Vite Zero, in the summer of 2024.

In July 2025, meanwhile, the brand expanded its offerings by entering the ready-to-drink (RTD) category with a new collection of canned spritzes. The line features five distinct flavours: the bittersweet Apertivo Spritz, the Hugo Spritz made with elderflower and mint, the Sicilian Lemon Spritz, which offers a unique twist on Limoncello, the Bellini Spritz crafted with white peaches, and the alcohol-free Aperiti-No Spritz.

On the marketing side, the brand’s distinctive pink car has travelled the country, including in its efforts to recruit a Pro-secco drinker. The brand also launched a billboard last year, emphasising its premium positioning by encouraging drinkers to “cheat on Champagne”.

International competitions have also helped get the message out. Della Vite DOC Treviso Rosé Prosecco won a Gold medal in the Prosecco Masters 2025, and Patricia Stefanowicz MW provides her tasting note below.

Della Vite Prosecco DOC Treviso Rosé NV

  • Grape varieties: 89% Glera, 11% Pinot Nero
  • ABV: 11.5%
  • Approx. retail price: £21.50

Designed by the Delevingne sisters and produced with them by Foss Marai, this wine has substance and character. Pale baby-pink in hue with persistent bubbles and a frothy cordon, the wine exhibits strawberry and raspberry fruit, with accents of crushed red roses and gentle yeast autolysis. Off-dry, the perfumed palate is light-bodied, its flavours framed by racy acidity and satin mousse texture. Savoury and lingering on the finish, the wine will be a perfect foil for steamed Chinese rice pancakes stuffed with gently spiced crab meat.
