Wines from Spain announces dates for 2023 Annual Tasting

The 2023 Wines from Spain Annual Tasting will be held in London on 28 February, while a regional tasting event will also take place in Leeds on 13 March.

After the success of this year’s events, with a walk-around tasting in London and satellite tasting in Scotland, Wines from Spain will return in the spring with two more events showcasing the diversity and quality of Spanish wine.

During the London event, the most comprehensive tasting of Spanish wines in the UK, leading importers and exporters of Spanish wines will present their latest portfolios.

At the regional tasting, held in Leeds, visitors will be able to walk around and explore themed tables, food & wine pairings and sample 200 Spanish wines carefully selected by bodegas and UK importers.

There will also be masterclasses providing insight on Spanish wine, and free-access webinars are programmed for February and March to bring digital content to an audience across the UK.

Fernando Muñoz, UK director for Foods and Wines from Spain, said: “‘After the successful return of our in-person tastings last year, we are very upbeat about 2023 and look forward to hosting our
annual tasting events both in London and Leeds. It is very important to us to continue to broaden the appeal of Spanish wines beyond Southeast England and we are pleased to be visiting Yorkshire next year.”
