The Harrow at Little Bedwyn up for sale

The highly acclaimed restaurant, The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, is now up for sale after owners Roger and Sue Jones have stepped back from the business.

The pair have run the Wiltshire-based venue for 21 years and held a Michelin-star for 12 of those years as well as numerous other top awards and widespread praise for the food and impressive wine offering.

As reported in January this year, the pair have decided to step away from the business, closing on 28 March.

Roger and Sue said: “The decision has not been easy in many ways, but we feel that we have achieved everything we can and more, so it is time to move onto other things.

“Our experience has been made possible by the loyalty and support of our dear friends and family, not forgetting top suppliers, talented winemakers and an amazing trade that has seen us through so many highlights.”

The Harrow is being sold as a restaurant that a new buyer can continue. Nicholas Calfe, director at Christie & Co which is handling the sale, said: “This delightful 19th century former public house has been an award-winning Michelin star restaurant for many years.

“While, inevitably, this accolade will depart with our clients, its reputation will remain, allowing new ambitious owners the chance to re-establish The Harrow as a quality dining venue.”

The freehold is being offered at a guide price of £735,000.
