Mind-reading, live DJs and golf tournaments to entertain attendees of TFWA World Exhibition 2018 in Cannes

Attendees of this year’s Duty Free and Travel Retail summit in Cannes can expect a “comprehensive programme of social and leisure activities,” according to the organisers.

Running from 30th September to 5th October, attendees will be able to network with a industry leaders within the travel retail space at a variety of one-off cocktail bars, and take a break with entertainment from magic shows, to live DJs, and even an impromptu golf tournament. The evening will conclude with an extravagant firework display over the bay.

The trade fair kicks off on 30th September with the annual Opening Cocktail party, which will take place on the Carlton Hotel’s private beach. Then, for the rest of the week, entertainment can e found at the The Scene at Plage du Palais des Festivals, where delegates can enjoy a drink and take in the sea views at the venue’s Sixties-themed Lounge, with DJs on-hand to keep the dance-floor lively.

Le Premium Evening at Port Canto will signal the end of the exhibition’s party schedule on Thursday 4th October, when the cast of Broadway The Illusionists will entertain guests with magic tricks from mind-reading to levitation.

The show’s leisure activities programme will start on Sunday with a Golf Tournament held in partnership with Qatar Duty Free at the Royal Mougins Golf Club.
