‘We make a wine for that’: Australia to relaunch national campaign

Australia’s wine industry is preparing to roll out a renewed national marketing campaign this August as part of efforts to encourage greater domestic consumption of Australian wine.

The initiative, centred on the message “We make a wine for that,” aims to highlight the diversity of Australian wines and promote their suitability for a wide range of everyday and special occasions.

The campaign is designed as a collaborative platform for wine producers, distributors and retailers, allowing businesses across the sector to participate through their own marketing activities while contributing to a coordinated national effort.

The initiative builds on the campaign’s inaugural launch in August 2025, which sought to raise the profile of Australian wine among domestic consumers.

Lat year’s campaign reached more than 4 million people across the country, generated 6.4m impressions across digital channels and was seen more more than two million shoppers in stores and venues.

The 2026 campaign will again feature a dedicated Australian Wine focus month in August, providing businesses with opportunities to promote regional wines, share local stories and engage consumers through events and marketing activities.

As part of the campaign, participating businesses will have access to a free marketing toolkit containing campaign assets and adaptable promotional templates for use across digital and in-store channels.

The campaign also supports wine-related events throughout the year, with organisers inviting businesses and event hosts to submit activities for promotion on the Australian Wine website and social media channels.
