Majestic takes on 45,000 miles for charity

Majestic colleagues are gearing up for the Majestic Miles challenge, covering 45,000 miles in 45 days from 1 September to celebrate the retailer’s 45th birthday. Staff from across the UK will walk, run, cycle, row and climb their way towards the target, raising funds for the Majestic Charitable Foundation.
Beneficiaries include The Brain Tumour Charity, CALM, Child Bereavement UK, and Jersey Cancer Relief, alongside £45,000 in local grants.
Robbie Williams invests in alcohol-free beer brand

Robbie Williams has joined Australian B-Corp-certified label Heaps Normal as investor and creative collaborator. Known for its support of the live music scene, the alcohol-free beer brand launched in the UK this summer and is stocked in over 170 pubs and retailers. Williams, sober for more than 20 years, says teaming up is “personal” and that he wants to “back a new kind of normal”. Co-founder Andy Miller praised the partnership as “wild” for a small independent business, with plans for creative campaigns and new product ideas.
Pol Roger Touch Rugby Tournament raises the bar

The annual Pol Roger Touch Rugby Tournament returned to Battersea Ironsides Rugby Club for its seventh edition, with 24 drinks industry teams competing in aid of The Drinks Trust. For the first time, Pol Roger’s own team took home the trophy, beating Hallgarten in a tense final. Former England internationals Anthony Watson and Jonathan Joseph were on hand to present prizes, adding star power to a day of sport, camaraderie and fundraising.
