In partnership with Bemakers and Bemakers Trade, Heinz Wagner Sekt is entering the Danish market to bring its sparkling wines to consumers in the on- and off-trade. The expansion marks the brand’s growing presence in Europe, offering Danish consumers a taste of sustainably crafted cuvée.

Heinz Wagner Sekt was founded by Maximilian Wagner, who revived his family’s winemaking legacy to craft sparkling wines that are said to honour tradition and embrace sustainability and innovation. Wagner’s family legacy includes grandmother and winemaker Hedwig Heinz, and his great-great-grandfather Heinrich Heinz, a co-founder of the Kallstadt winegrowers’ association.

It uses locally sourced Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from the South Baden region and undergoes traditional bottle fermentation. With sustainability and eco-friendly practices at its core, the brand aims to eliminate paper labels with its No Paper Label design and operates with locally sourced green energy.

Living according to its signature motto of ‘Don’t forget to disco’, the brand welcomes celebratory occasions from the dance floor to the dinner table.
