Graham’s unveils eye-catching 2017 Late Bottled Vintage collection

Graham’s Port has unveiled its 2017 Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) in three eye-catching, colourful tubes, adorned with embossed detailing inspired by Porto’s architecture.

In a press release, Graham’s said that the inspiration behind the design was “the skill and attention to detail required to produce wines of consistent quality”.

The commemorative tubes are presented in three colourways; burnt orange, deep purple, and Graham green.

Vicky Symington, 5th generation of the Symington family and Graham’s Brand Marketing Manager said:

We are very proud of the incredibly positive response to Graham’s 2015 Late Bottled Vintage Port over the last two years. We believe these beautiful tubes have brought vibrancy to the port category – appealing to both existing port drinkers, and the new generation that we have seen emerging. Graham’s LBVs are stunning wines, and we are very pleased to see such a growing interest in them.”

The release will be stocked in Waitrose, Morrisons and Asda, with an RRP of £14.

In November, it was announced that Graham’s would be releasing a secret stash of 1950 Tawny Port.

Bottled in October 2021, The Master 1950 Single Harvest Tawny Port has seen three generations of master blenders contribute to its careful ageing across seven decades.

“This wine really is from another time,” says Graham’s current head winemaker Charles Symington. “It’s quite extraordinary that after 70 years this wine still has such complexity and balance.”
