Waitress says boss told her to ‘sit ugly people at the back’ of high-end LA restaurant

A waitress was told to sit “ugly people at the back” at a fancy LA restaurant has claimed that her boss in a shocking confession that has left people furious.

In a video shared to TikTok, former restaurant worker @brookeschofield1 revealed that her boss had told her when she was a waitress to “sit ugly people at the back” of the fancy restaurant in Los Angeles.

The video remixed Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World, with the lyrics changed to “and I think to myself, what the f**k.”

“LA is such an interesting place,” the video is captioned.

And commenters were outraged by the revelation.

“Oh- no wonder I’m always seated in the back” commented one disgruntled TikTok user.

“I am not emotionally stable enough to receive this news,” another added.

“Y’all, one time I brought my family into a nice restaurant and they sat us in the basement lol,” a third commenter shared.

Meanwhile, American restaurant chain Hooters has received considerable backlash over its new uniform, which has been likened to underwear by staff.

“Love my job but don’t love wearing undies to work,” one Hooters employee wrote in a viral TikTok video that has been viewed nearly 15 million times.

Hooters has since backtracked on the new uniform, with a spokesperson telling Insider that employees could choose whether to wear their new uniform or its previous iteration.
