Packaging of Premium & Luxury Drinks Show goes digital

Drinks packaging exhibition PLD Paris is launching its first ‘digital day’ which will cater for the luxury drinks category.

The French trade show, which is organised by Easy Fairs and opened for the first time last year, aims to bring a unique blend of insight, inspiration and connections with packaging developers and designers to the luxury drinks category on Thursday 25 March.

The day is part of a wider three day digital trade show of packaging innovation, with other days devoted to the perfume and cosmetics market, and aerosols and dispensing systems.

The platform combines combine speakers leading international beauty, premium drinks and aerosol brand owners along with insight into the latest innovation strategies, and npd in packaging for all three sectors.

It will comprise a mixture of keynote talks and panel discussions from decision-makers across the wines, spirits, and luxury drinks industry, along with analysts and design leaders, covering topics such as packaging development and design, sustainability pressures, the digital shift to changing consumer and regulatory demands, and the challenges for packaging innovation in the post-COVID world.

It will also include an interactive innovation lab, hosted by market leading packaging suppliers, to give visitors an insight into the latest trends in specific packaging technologies and materials, and reveal the finalists of it innovation awards.

Suppliers also have their own showcase pages to allow the audience to discover the latest products and innovations from a select group of suppliers, in order to facilitate connections and meetings.

Brands already registered for the event include Pernod Ricard, Diageo, Heinz Glas, Belvedere Vodka – Moet Hennessy and LVMH, the organiser said.
