Upcoming rare wine and whisky auctions that you won’t want to miss

Highly coveted Yamazaki special edition bottle, vertical vintages of Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, rare vintage of Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne…… The 28th Kaigai Fine Wine and Whisky Online Auction held by Kaigai Fine Wine Asia offers connoisseurs from all over the world a chance to collect these exquisite items.

Tokyo-based fine wine distributor Kaigai Fine Wine Asia is going to hold its 28th Fine Wine and Whisky Online Auction from 3-10 August. The sale showcases a series of highly collectable old world wines and Japanese whiskies.

Stars of the show include a bottle of 1960 Yamazaki – The Century, aged in mizunara cask and bottled in 2000, the 40-year-old whisky is Suntory’s first single cask to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the house and a new millennium.

Wine fanatics would be enthralled by fine vintages such as 1976 Louis Roderer Champagne Cristal Rose, and a small vertical of Comte Liger-Belair Echezeaux Grand Cru.

Other whisky highlights are the Kiyosato Field Ballet Anniversary Series (25th –29th) made at the Chichibu distillery, and Chichibu Intergalactic Edition 1 & 2, and Chichibu – Mitsukoshi Isetan 6 Years.

Longing to discover more charming items, you can hang on to the BirdLife Spring Gala 2020 Internet Auction held on the same platform. Taking place concurrently with the wine and whisky auction, the event is as well supported by Kaigai.

Led by HIH Princess Takamado, BirdLife International is one of the oldest international environmental NGOs in the world, committed to advancing the scientific research of endangered species. The online auction will feature wine and sakes such as two bottles of Dassemus Solaris 2017 and Kouzuki Kamuji. Other than wines, the auction features a range of highly coveted timepieces and works of craft, for instances Chopard’s newly reborn iconic “ Alpine Eagle ” Watch and an Arita Porcelain Flower Vase. The amount raised in the auction will help further advance the organisation’s scientific mission.
