Travel retailer Duty Zero celebrates second anniversary in HK

Established in November 2017, wine and spirit travel retailer Duty Zero, a joint venture between China Duty Free Group and Lagardère Travel Retail, is celebrating its second anniversary at Hong Kong International Airport with an extensive range of special promotions running from now to 31 December.

Duty Zero sells a wide repertoire of duty free fine wine and liquor from 400 brands, as well as cigarettes and local food. The shop offers one of the widest selections of single malt whiskies among Asia Pacific airports and the world’s most comprehensive selection of Asian spirits.

The selection also comprises auction-grade items including Martell Hidden Gems, a precious blend in a vintage Baccarat crystal decanter, with the most valuable example priced at HK$1,336,000,

The outlet has also divided its retail space into experiential themes which provide sample tastings and which are refreshed regularly to give customers a brand new experience.

Running until 31 December, customers can select from an array of featured wine and spirit products at reductions of 40%.

Duty Zero has also rolled out a lucky draw with prizes worth HK$2 million in total. Customers who spend HK$1,500 at any of its stores are eligible to enter the game. First prize is a pair of round trip tickets to Scotland with four-night hotel accommodation for two to join a ‘Scotland Distillery Tour’ to Mortlach, Glendullan, Glenfiddich and Macallan.
