Licor 43 teams up with London Coffee Festival

First launched in 1946, Licor 43 Original is a 31% abv liqueur, known for its bright golden colour, made with 43 natural ingredients, which includes selected Mediterranean citrus fruits and botanicals.

The brand recorded a 7.7% sales increase, CAGR 2014-17, according to 2017 figures provided by IWSR, making it the fastest growing premium liqueur in the world.

Licor 43 Baristo launched in the UK this year and is a fusion of the essence of Licor 43 Original with premium, rare coffee from the world’s most northerly coffee plantation in the Canary Islands.

“Licor 43 has long been a traditional partner to coffee in countries all over the world, from Spain to Mexico,” said UK brand manager Charlotte Oswald.

“Now bartenders and baristas – and consumers – in this country are seeing and understanding the marriage of flavour profiles between the two. At the London Coffee Festival we’ll be inspiring and demonstrating coffee cocktail creativity in both the bar, and at home.”

Now in its eighth year, London Coffee Festival (28th to 31st March) is run by Allegra Events and was attended by 31,897 coffee lovers and industry professionals in 2018.

Both Licor 43 Original and Licor 43 Baristo will be showcased at the event, alongside bespoke signature serves including the Espresso Martini 43 and Carajillo 43.

Licor 43 is represented by Cellar Trends in the UK.
