Lafite 1982 to headline Christie’s online auction
Auction house Christie’s has announced an upcoming online auction in Hong Kong from 28 March to 11 April, featuring prominent lots from Bordeaux including a selection of Château Lafite-Rothschild 1982.
One of the highlights is a single-owner collection coming directly from Bordeaux City Bond to Hong Kong specially for the sale. All of the wines were bought en primeur and have been stored in Bordeaux since, the auction house said.
There is a particularly strong selection of first growth Château Lafite-Rothschild 1982, offered in one to six bottle lots. Also on offer is a parcel of the 1982 Chateau Lafite by a Thai collector, with the 1994 Château Lafite ‘re-buchon‘ (‘recorked’) tags that confirm the wines were recorded and recorked by the winery.
The sale registration is on 28 March.
