Final call for Sauvignon Blanc Masters

The drinks business is taking final entries for its latest Masters competition: The Sauvignon Blanc Global Masters 2016.

Sauvignon-Blanc-MastersNow in its second year the competition will identify the best Sauvignon Blanc from all around the world in every price range.

Unlike other international competitions, The Global Masters series is judged by grape variety rather than country. Every wine will be measured on the taste of its grape and the skill of its winemaker.

All Global Masters are judged blind by a panel of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior buyers only, chaired by the drinks business editor-in-chief Patrick Schmitt MW. The best competing wines will be awarded medals from Bronze through to Gold, and ultimately “Master” for exceptional examples.

The results of the tasting and accompanying analysis will be published in the drinks business magazine, online, on social media and also in the Hong Kong edition.

Prospective entrants are invited to email Sophie@thedrinksbusiness.com for more information, or click here to download an entry form. The deadline for entry is 30 October 2016.
