Top 10 London Cocktail Week deals

With London Cocktail Week (LCW) just four days away, returning bigger and better than ever, we round up some of the best deals on offer at a selection of the capital’s restaurants.

Running from 5 to 11 October, this year’s event will not only be moving to a new, bigger hub in the heart of Soho, but will take up a 1,200 square metre space for one week at Old Spitalfields Market, transforming it into a huge cocktail village. The market will play host to dozens of pop-up bars, trucks, vans and even bicycles serving bespoke cocktails for just £5 each for wristband wearers, as well as a live music stage and food trucks. As well as having a base at Old Spitalfields, the event will also host its World Class London Cocktail Week Hub at 51 Poland Street in Covent Garden, where guests can pick up their wristbands and pocket guide to participating bars.

Guests will also be able to take part in a packed schedule of parties, including the World’s 50 Best Bars awards ceremony on Thursday 8 October, masterclasses, supper clubs and self-guided Cocktail Tours, which sees 250 of the best bars in the capital offering specially created cocktails for just £5 to wristband wearers.

“Having hit record numbers in 2014 with more than 22,000 guests attending the festival, we knew that London Cocktail Week was ready to move to an ever bigger home”, said Siobhan Payne, Festival Director of London Cocktail Week. “The London Cocktail Week Village in Old Spitalfields Market and the much bigger World Class London Cocktail Week Hub in Soho is definitely going to take the festival to that next level”.

LCW wristbands cost £10 and are available now at LondonCocktailWeek.com, or free to members of the trade. All guests will receive a free pocket-sized bar guide mapping out all bars participating in the festival. As well as £5 cocktails in all partner venues and pop-ups, wristband wearers can benefit from a host of offers at restaurants and bars around town.
