What a fantastic year it has been for the 2005 Drinks Business Awards. In just two years we are delighted to have received such phenomenal support from each aspect of the drinks industry – wines, spirits, beers and even soft drinks. Even though we introduced four new awards this year the total volume of entries was up by 40% since our launch last year and the quality was outstanding.
The Drinks Business Awards were developed to recognise and award business excellence within the drinks trade and this objective has certainly captured the imagination of our industry. The quality of the entries and the effort that went into producing them was exceptional.
Our judges toiled hard and long in order to decide upon our winners and runners-up. We are confident that you will see that they have made the right decision in each category.

2005 has been a most exhilarating year. More lessons have been learnt but we know we are on the way to making The Drinks Business Awards the definitive acknowledgement of excellence in business by the trade, of the trade.
