Magners Light to launch in the UK

The latest addition to the Magners range is a light variant, with the same ABV as the original (4.5%), but fewer calories. While this product has previously been available in the Irish market, next month sees its UK debut.

The cider will initially be available in Asda stores in 330ml long neck bottles (RRP £4.49 – £4.79 for 4). Magners Light, made using an artificial sweetener, has 28 kcal per 100ml (as opposed to 37 kcal per 100ml in Magners).
