Jameson debuts whiskey Christmas tree

Irish whiskey label Jameson, which is owned by Pernod Ricard, has turned empty whiskey bottles into Christmas trees and is giving fans the chance to take one home this festive season as part of a new competition.

Seven trees have been created, all of which are made of 130 Jameson bottles, are 8ft 6″ tall, and have their own lights.

To win one of the trees, Irish whiskey lovers are being asked to explain why they deserve to bring a tree home to share with their friends and family this year in up to 200 words. Visit jamesonwhiskey.com to enter.

Angelica Scibilio, brand director of Jameson, said: “Place our Jameson whiskey tree in your window and your neighbours will be green with envy, guaranteed.

“We understand the holidays are different this year, and we hope our legendary trees will give a few lucky consumers some extraordinary holiday memories with friends and family.”

The trees will be delivered in the first week of December, and the winners will also receive a gift card to purchase more Jameson in time for the holidays.
