The programme split into two courses – A and B over a three-day period – will focus on Italian and French wines and unveil how wine style, regions and production methods affect wine quality, as well as techniques for assessing wine.

Course A, styled: “Seeking Greatness – Decoding Wine Quality”, will be conducted by Sarah Heller MW and focus on wine quality and styles from Italy with top quality samples of Barolos and Amarones.

Course B will be taught by Jeannie Cho Lee MW to highlight fine wine styles from France’s top regions Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne.

The programme is designed in conjunction with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM). The courses are based on the MSc in International Wine Management programme offered by SHTM.

Upon completion of the programme, participants would be awarded a certificate endorsed by SHTM and the HKTDC. Participants joining the courses will also receive a complimentary Wine & Spirits Fair Admission Ticket for 10 November 2018, as well as a Lucaris Crystal Glass (redeemable on 10 Nov; valued HKD310 in total).
