Moët Hennessy secures long-term Silverstone partnership

The LVMH-owned wines and spirits group has announced a long-term partnership with Silverstone, with Moët & Chandon becoming the circuit’s official Champagne partner.

Moët Hennessy has unveiled a long-term partnership with Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix, as it continues to strengthen its ties with Formula 1.

As part of the deal, Moët & Chandon will become the official Champagne of Silverstone, while the wider Moët Hennessy portfolio will feature across the venue’s hospitality offering.

The partnership builds on Moët Hennessy’s wider Formula 1 activity, following its partnership with the Automobile Club de Monaco and its role as an official partner of Formula 1.

Moët & Chandon Club to launch in 2026

New for 2026, Moët & Chandon will open a dedicated hospitality space during Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend at Silverstone. The luxury space within the Silverstone Fusion Club will be transformed into the Moët & Chandon Club.

The hospitality area will include an exhibition of historic podium bottles signed by Formula 1 drivers, a podium-inspired photo experience, Champagne cocktails and the opportunity for guests to purchase pre-engraved Moët & Chandon bottles.

Packages for the Moët & Chandon Club at the Silverstone Fusion Lounge will start at £750.

Julie Nollet, managing director UK & Ireland at Moët Hennessy, said: “Silverstone holds a unique place in the world of motorsport, and we’re proud to be partnering with them throughout the year, with the F1 weekend standing out as a defining moment in that partnership. With Moët & Chandon as the official champagne sponsor, we’re pleased to bring a sense of celebration and elegance to one of the most prestigious events in sport.”

Rachel James, head of partnerships at Silverstone, added: “Silverstone has long been at the heart of motorsport, a place where legends are born and history is written. We are delighted to extend our partnership with Moët Hennessy continuing to bring together two worlds defined by heritage, craftmanship and timeless excellence.”

Formula 1 heritage

Moët & Chandon traced its Formula 1 connection back to the 1950 Reims Grand Prix, when Frédéric Chandon de Briailles offered a bottle to the race winner. The gesture went on to inspire the now-famous podium Champagne spray tradition.

The Maison said Jeroboams destined for Formula 1 podium celebrations are stored in its cellars in Épernay before being signed by race winners and shared with winning teams.

Sibylle Scherer, president and CEO of Moët & Chandon, said: “As we enter our second season back in Formula 1®, our partnership moves beyond a return to become a lasting presence. United by the same pursuit of precision and excellence.

“Moët & Chandon and Formula 1 celebrate the craftsmanship, teamwork, and passion that define both our worlds. Together, we continue to elevate the podium into a moment of shared victory — honoring the collective spirit behind every achievement.”
