Heineken launches global capability centre in Hyderabad
Global brewing giant Heineken has launched a global capability centre in Hyderabad, southern India, in a bid to strengthen its international footprint and productivity agenda under its EverGreen strategy.

Spanning 76,000 sq ft, the new facility, based in Hyderabad’s financial district, will offer services across financial, technology, digital and analytics.
It is set to create more than 300 jobs in its initial phase – a number forecasted to grow to 1,600 in the next few years.
The centre forms part of the company’s growing network of multifunction Business Service hubs around the world, with centres in Brazil, Mexico and Poland.
‘Important milestone’
Speaking of the launch, Heineken’s chief financial officer, Harold Van Den Broek, called the opening of Heineken Business Services India an “important milestone” in further strengthening the fundamentals that underpin the firm’s EverGreen 2030 strategy.
“By expanding our global business services footprint, we are supporting more efficient and digitally enabled ways of working, which brings further productivity gains and consistency across the company,” he continued.

The new site in India is designed to embolden Heineken’s global footprint, close a strategic gap in Asia and support markets worldwide, a statement from the company said.
‘Long-term commitment’
“HBS India reflects our long-term commitment to creating a connected global network of Centres,” added Ákos Magyari, senior director of Heineken business services (HBS).
“Hyderabad offers deep expertise in digital, AI and business services, and we are excited to expand our capabilities from this strategic location.”
Last month, the Amsterdam-based brewer reported modest gains in revenue and volume across the board, with premium brands and developing markets continuing to drive momentum.
Performance varied markedly by geography, but Asia Pacific delivered the strongest expansion: total volume soared by 10.1% in the region, bolstered by demand in India, Vietnam and China.
