Coravin launches global ‘Curiosity By-the-Glass’ campaign
Coravin is rolling out its ‘Curiosity By-the-Glass’ campaign this April, bringing together more than 40 venues worldwide to showcase unusual and lesser-known wines by the glass.

Coravin is rolling out a new global campaign this month (April) designed to encourage wine exploration through by-the-glass offerings, with more than 40 venues taking part across key international markets.
Focus on discovery
The ‘Curiosity By-the-Glass’ initiative will see venues in Australia, the UK, the Netherlands, the US and Italy present dedicated menus featuring unusual and lesser-known wines from their cellars. The campaign centres on offering consumers access to wines that are not typically available by the glass.
Participating restaurants and bars will showcase a range spanning regions from Croatia to China and Tasmania to Texas. Several venues will also host sommelier-led tastings, highlighting uncommon grape varieties, emerging regions and alternative styles.
The initiative aligns with Coravin’s broader ambition to make a wider range of wines accessible without requiring a full bottle purchase.
Leveraging Coravin systems
All venues involved will use Coravin’s Timeless, Pivot and Sparkling systems to deliver their by-the-glass programmes. These technologies allow operators to pour wine without removing the closure, preserving the remaining liquid for extended periods.
Partner Content
The campaign also builds on The Coravin Guide, a digital platform launched in 2025 that helps consumers identify venues offering extensive and diverse by-the-glass selections globally.
Coravin noted that independent research commissioned last year found an increase in consumers ordering wine by the glass compared to two years ago, with exploration cited as a key motivation.
Global participation
Among the venues taking part are deVine Food & Wine in Sydney, Oocker in Amsterdam and Alex Dilling in the UK, alongside Wife & the Somm in Los Angeles and Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan.
“Curiosity By-The-Glass is about opening the door to discovery,” said Coravin founder and inventor Greg Lambrecht. “This April, our Coravin Guide venues are pouring fascinating wines rarely available by-the-glass, giving wine lovers the freedom to explore new regions, new producers and unexpected styles – one inspirational glass of wine at a time.”
Founded in the US in 2013, Coravin now operates in more than 80 countries. The company reports that a glass of wine is poured using its systems every second of every day.
