Bijou expands UK presence with Sound Bites festival partnership
Southern French wine producer Bijou makes its UK festival debut this summer as the exclusive still rosé partner for the Sound Bites 2026 series.

Bijou, a prominent name in the south of France, is dedicated to highlighting the untapped potential and outstanding quality of wines produced in the Languedoc and Provence. From sun-drenched vineyards along the Mediterranean coast to the elevated slopes of the Pyrenees, each wine embodies remarkable precision and freshness. This character is achieved through careful vineyard selection and a modern approach to French winemaking with a commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The brand’s progressive approach aims to challenge traditional perceptions of wine. As part of its global strategy, Bijou is increasing its visibility at festivals and experiential activations to help develop the market by reaching new consumers beyond the typical wine drinker.
Bijou’s best-selling Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose Rosé represents a new benchmark for the modern Languedoc style: pale, bone-dry, and defined by a signature Mediterranean salinity that makes it naturally suited to relaxed outdoor and summer occasions. Offering both poise and complexity, it is an ideal wine for sharing unforgettable moments with friends at events like Sound Bites.
Sound Bites is a celebration of food and music. Hosted across four weekends in the UK in the 2026 summer season, the events will blend a curated soundtrack from day to night, featuring street food, pop-up kitchens, and chef-led dining experiences from some of the country’s most exciting culinary talents, alongside premium drinks. The events target younger, experience-oriented audiences aged 25-45, providing an excellent platform to engage a new generation of food, wine, and music enthusiasts.
“We’re delighted to welcome Bijou as our exclusive, and very first, still rosé partner,” a co-founder of Sound Bites says. “Their wines capture the fun, dynamic energy we’re creating with Sound Bites, while their commitment to quality and sustainability aligns perfectly with the premium experience we want our guests to enjoy.”
Perfect festival rosé
The first stop for Bijou and Sound Bites will be at The Clementine in Syon Park, London, from 8 to 9 May. After that, the duo will head to Tunbridge Wells in Kent for a three-day celebration from 12 to 14 June. The third stop will be in Reigate, Surrey, from 10 to 12 July. The summer tour will conclude with an event in St Albans, Hertfordshire, taking place from 4 to 6 September.
At the centre of each event will be the custom-designed Bijou Wine Bars, which will exclusively serve Bijou’s flagship wines: Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose Rosé, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc. These elegantly designed spaces will offer a relaxing environment to unwind, with exquisite southern French wines paired with world-class dishes and music throughout the weekend.

With more than 40,000 attendees expected throughout the summer series, the partnership with Sound Bites positions Bijou at the forefront of the UK summer festival scene, further enhancing its presence in both on-trade and consumer channels.
The collaboration follows a successful series of global activations for the brand, including exclusive Bijou Wine Paddocks at six major events in Sweden, such as the Dream Park Festival in Malmö and the Falsterbo Horse Show. Additionally, there was the curated Bijou Bloom Bar Valentine’s Day activation at Glengarry Wines in Auckland, New Zealand.
Tickets for the summer season Sound Bites’ weekend events are now available at www.sound-bites.co.uk.
In addition to the presence across the UK summer festival season, Bijou wines are available in more than 50 countries worldwide, from Mediterranean beach clubs and rooftop bars in Auckland to five-star hotels in the UAE. Thoughtfully crafted in a range of distinctive styles, Bijou is a perfect companion for celebrations, gatherings, and food pairings.
