108 Brasserie unveils Château La Coste rosé terrace

108 Brasserie has teamed up with organic and biodynamic Provence producer Château La Coste to bring a rosé-focused summer terrace to London’s Marylebone Village.

Named La Terrasse on the Lane, the outdoor space launched in May ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend and will remain in place throughout the summer.

The terrace takes inspiration from the Côtes de Provence, with a floral installation designed to reflect the landscapes surrounding Château La Coste, the biodynamic wine estate located north of Aix-en-Provence. Olive and cypress trees feature alongside wildflower displays intended to evoke the vineyard’s setting.

Provence-inspired drinks offering

As part of the collaboration, guests can enjoy magnums of rosé poured tableside, a selection of Château La Coste wines and signature rosé spritz cocktails priced at £16.50.

Château La Coste describes itself as an art-led, biodynamic estate where wine, contemporary art and architecture come together. The Irish-owned property is situated 15km north of Aix-en-Provence and is certified both organic and biodynamic.

According to the estate, all wine production takes place on site, from vine to bottle, with vineyards planted on limestone-rich soils and benefiting from a distinctive microclimate.

Seasonal menu

To accompany the drinks offering, 108 Brasserie has created a dedicated terrace menu featuring Provençal-inspired dishes.

Highlights include brioche lobster sub rolls with lemon, smoked paprika, chives and spring onion (£24.50), a Caesar salad for two with white anchovies and golden frites (£30), and the 108 seafood platter featuring hot smoked salmon rillettes, prawn cocktail, dressed white crab and peppered mackerel (£85).

Dessert is a cherry clafoutis served with olive oil ice cream made using Château La Coste’s organic extra virgin olive oil (£12).

Located at The Marylebone hotel, 108 Brasserie said the terrace aims to bring the atmosphere of the South of France to central London throughout the summer season.
