Mirabeau showcases Provence with flagship rosé

Maison Mirabeau’s flagship rosé offers a contemporary flair to celebrations with its elegant presentation and taste while highlighting the Provence terroir.

Maison Mirabeau, located in the small village of Cotignac in the heart of Provence, may be a relatively new player in the area, but over the past 15 years, it has developed strong relationships with some of the region’s finest growers. While the winery is known worldwide for its social media presence, it is more importantly recognised for its high-quality rosés.

Since 2014, Mirabeau Pure Cuvée Rosé has added elegance to celebrations with its approachable flavour and modern aesthetic. Sourced from vineyards on the prized south side of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, which feature pebbly limestone soils and experience a significant diurnal temperature variation, the climate contributes to the airy freshness of its exceptional Côtes de Provence rosés. Additionally, elements from vineyards in the central Var region add length and complexity to Mirabeau’s flagship rosé.

The cuvée is a blend of nine grape varieties. Leading the blend is the region’s signature Grenache, which comprises 67%, followed by equal parts (14%) of aromatic Syrah and light Cinsault. The addition of small amounts of Mourvèdre, Carignan, Clairette, Rolle, Caladoc, and Ugni Blanc provides unique depth to the rosé.

The 2025 rosé showcases a beautiful pale pink colour with peachy undertones. On the palate, it offers enticing fruit aromas of vineyard peach and ripe pear, complemented by hints of mango, papaya, and a touch of fresh grapefruit. The palate is elegant and silky, delivering a burst of flavours that are pronounced and long-lasting, with a clean, refreshing finish.

Guillaume Cordonis, winemaker at Maison Mirabeau, says: “Maison Mirabeau Pure Cuvée is a rare rosé with true style and substance. Defined by elegance and precision, it balances perfectly ripe white fruit with flashes of citrus and a little exotic exuberance – an effortless choice for elevating life’s most beautiful moments.”

The versatile rosé is an excellent choice for a variety of dishes. It pairs with roasted zucchini accompanied by a basil-and-fromage frais dip, as well as grilled monkfish finished with a grapefruit butter sauce. Additionally, it complements a chicken supreme served with a caper cream sauce or a delicate citrus sabayon for dessert.

Mirabeau Pure Cuvée Rosé is available in more than 20 markets worldwide.

From one family to another

B Corp-certified winery Maison Mirabeau was founded in 2010 by Stephen and Jeany Cronk, who left the leafy suburbs of South London to embrace the blue skies and sunshine of Provence. To kickstart their venture, the couple partnered with Angela Muir MW to create exceptional rosé wines that have become fan favourites in the UK, Holland, Australia, and, more recently, the US.

Today, the winery offers a diverse portfolio that includes a wide range of rosés, gins, Mirabeau Prêt-à-Porter Rosé cans, and Rosé Spritz, developed in collaboration with Fever-Tree.

In 2019, Mirabeau explored new possibilities at Domaine Mirabeau, an experimental farm set within a nature reserve near the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, surrounded by charming Provençal villages. This 20-hectare estate features 14 hectares of vines and includes an authentic Bastide and a newly renovated farmhouse, available for rental, offering a close-up experience of vineyard life.

The estate has adopted ambitious farming practices and winemaking techniques, transitioning towards regenerative farming and promoting increased biodiversity. Additionally, it aims to help others make the shift toward more sustainable viticulture. As a testament to the winery’s continued commitment to sustainability, Stephen co-founded the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation to share knowledge about the promising farming style that holds great potential for vineyards.

In early February 2026, Chile-based Viña Concha y Toro announced its plan to acquire a majority stake in Maison Mirabeau, pending regulatory approval.
