Sustainability in Drinks previews Wine Paris presence

Alongside three of its associates, Sustainability in Drinks will bring its expertise to a dedicated hub at the world’s largest international wine fair.

(L-R) Sustainability in Drinks directors Janet Harrison and Judy Kendrick, and its sustainability consultants Anne Jones and Fran Draper.

Sustainability in Drinks has revealed its presence at Wine Paris, where it will join partners in bringing every level of sustainability discourse to the show’s visitors. It will take residence in hall 7.1 at stand G231 to form a dedicated hub for all things sustainability.

Having organised conferences in London for the past two years (and with plans for the 2026 edition well underway), the organisation brings together diverse opinions and influential decision makers to shape the drinks industry. At Wine Paris, Sustainability in Drinks will run practical workshops at the stand and daily talks at the show’s Academy.

Alongside Sustainability in Drinks, three organisations it has worked closely with will also exhibit at the stand. Firstly, the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation will demonstrate how prioritising biodiversity and soil health is paying dividends in the vineyard.

International Wineries for Climate Action will explain its decarbonisation and net zero pathways.

Finally, Porto Protocol will offer its expertise from a network of committed drinks organisations and professionals dedicated to sustainability in the sector.

All four organisations will have key figures on hand across the three days of the show, ready to discuss their work and how winemakers and drinks professionals can better incorporate sustainability into their practice.

International recognition

Sustainability in Drinks, and indeed its partners, are coming to Wine Paris after significant awards success – and in pursuit of more.

Sustainability in Drinks itself was named Best Drinks Event at The Drinks Business Awards 2025, where judges described it as “a professional, relevant and ground-breaking conference with a global reach”.

Porto Protocol, meanwhile, secured The Amorim Sustainability Award for an Organisation at The Drinks Business Green Awards last September.

Both organisations, as well the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation, are also in contention for V d’Or Awards. The winners of these, the Vinexposium Business Awards, will be revealed on 8 February, the night before Wine Paris opens.

Sustainability in Drinks is shortlisted for the Jury’s Special Mention, in recognition of ‘driving industry‑wide sustainability through education and advocacy’.

Porto Protocol and the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation, meanwhile, are both in competition for Best Sustainability Initiative – Wine.
