ProWein launches Fair Match networking platform

Wine and spirits trade fair ProWein has announced the launch of a new digital matchmaking tool, Fair Match, for its Düsseldorf show.

Fair Match ProWein

Making its debut at the ProWein trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 16-18 March, Fair Match is an innovative matchmaking tool that helps trade visitors and exhibitors connect selectively and more efficiently. It aims to enhance the experience of trade fair visits by suggesting personalised contacts, facilitating appointment scheduling, and offering an easy-to-use chat feature.

The user-friendly digital platform is accessible through the ProWein Portal and the ProWein App. It is available to anyone registered on the trade fair’s website, eliminating the need for re-registration.

On Fair Match, participants can conduct a targeted search and connect with others directly. Users can create a personal profile that allows them to specify their interests, the products they seek or offer, and their industry affiliation. This information helps generate the best possible networking matches. Based on the trade visitors’ interests and the products offered by exhibitors, recommended contacts are provided to facilitate connections. Users can also search and filter for exhibitors, products, sectors, or professional positions to find relevant contacts.

Peter Schmitz, director of ProWein, commented: “Digitalisation is what makes or breaks the success of trade fairs these days. With Fair Match we have created an innovative platform that makes it possible for trade visitors and exhibitors to make contact selectively. This means they will find it easier to meet the right business partners, discover relevant products and make their trade fair visit even more efficient.”

After the platform’s debut at ProWein 2025, the plan is to roll out Fair Match to other trade fairs at Messe Düsseldorf.

Attendees can access Fair Match through the ProWein app, which is available to download now.
