Chivas Regal releases ‘Tifosi Tartan’ in partnership with Scuderia Ferrari

Chivas Regal releases a limited-edition kilt created in partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP ahead of the seasons-end Grand Prix.

Scotch whisky brand Chivas Regal has launched the ‘Tifosi Tartan,’ a limited-edition kilt that fuses Scottish tradition with the spirit of Ferrari’s Formula 1 fandom.

The unveiling, held in Abu Dhabi ahead of this weekend’s season-ending Grand Prix, marks an early milestone in the recently announced multi-year partnership between Chivas Regal and Scuderia Ferrari HP.

The Tifosi Tartan, crafted by Scottish kiltmakers Kinloch Anderson, draws inspiration from Chivas Regal’s own tartan and Ferrari’s iconic Rosso Corsa red. The unisex design pays homage to Ferrari’s fervent fanbase, known as the Tifosi, celebrating their passion, pride, and loyalty.

Chivas Regal’s global marketing director, Nick Blacknell, said the design was a tribute to shared values between the two brands. “Tartan is such a rich part of Chivas Regal’s Scottish heritage, and the ‘Tifosi Tartan’ is our nod to Scuderia Ferrari HP’s dedicated fandom. We aimed to create something unique that embodies our shared legacies of craft, innovation, and luxury,” Blacknell said.

The announcement comes on the heels of Chivas Regal’s designation as Official Team Partner to Scuderia Ferrari HP, a collaboration that promises to give fans a deeper look into the Ferrari community. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc attended the Abu Dhabi launch event, which also honoured Ferrari supporters, highlighting their crucial role in the team’s legacy.

The collaboration follows other partnerships between Ferrari and other alcohol companies this year, such as Peroni and Jeroboams.

Liv Blankson, a devoted Tifosi member, expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative. “As a fan, I’m thrilled to celebrate the partnership between Scuderia Ferrari HP and Chivas Regal. The Tifosi Tartan captures the passion both brands represent,” she said.

For Chivas Regal, this partnership aims to encompass a blend of tradition and modernity, celebrating Ferrari’s history while bringing a unique Scottish twist to motorsport fandom. For Ferrari, it offers another way to connect with their Tifosi community, blending heritage with unique fan engagement.

The limited-edition kilts are set to be made available to fans worldwide, with details to be announced on Chivas Regal’s social media channels.
