Lockdown Liquor introduces its Easy Liquor canned cocktails

Lockdown Liquor & Co has expanded into premium canned cocktails with a new range called Easy Liquor.

The line-up, which features four cocktails includes a Margarita, a Rum Punch, a Ginger Cosmo and an Espresso Martini.

Speaking to the drinks business, Lockdown Liquor & Co co-founders Natasha and Jack Durling said: “Our core aim for the brand is to make premium quality cocktails accessible to everyone, both on trade clients as well as consumers. Working really closely to assist the on-trade in maximising their offering to customers, improving efficiency, opening new revenue streams is a real focus, especially after what the hospitality industry has been through over the last few years. This to be done without compromising on the quality and removing the negative stigma that has been associated with premixed cocktails previously. Lockdown Liquor has always looked to challenge the industry and category which we continue to strive to do with new products and offerings constantly being reviewed.”

Considering the rise in interest in high quality pre-mix cocktails, Durling explained: “This predominantly stems from the period within Lockdown where people found themselves with more time at home to be able to experiment with making their favourite cocktails as well as spending a little bit more on using premium ingredients within their cocktails. There was a real shift to enhance the ‘at home’ experience from a food and drink perspective, once consumers realised there was a solution to pre-mix cocktails in a quality and consistent way it was the perfect solution. Alongside this the cocktail category in general has been increasing year-on-year with the customer expectation of being able to enjoy a high-quality cocktail anyway, from your local country pub to mini bars in your hotel room.”

During told db: “We see a massive opportunity and growth within the low and no category in which we have already started to launch in with our partnered non-alcoholic cocktail range with both Pentire and Everleaf. We also see the increasing rise in CBD and the inclusion it is making within the cocktail scene” and hinted: “keep your eyes peeled!”

The range is already available in a selection of prestigious outlets including Daylesford Organic and Anthropologie and will be available to buy from 5 December 2022 via the brand’s online shop and will retail at £18 for four 125ml cans.
