Look, this isn’t the first time a company has brought out a booze-themed scented candle. After all, who could forget Miller Lite’s memorable ‘Dive Bar’ candle that was released, tongue firmly in cheek, earlier this year.

However, while other booze-themed scented candles may have been released in the past, we’re willing to bet that none have sounded – and probably smelled – quite as enticing as these.

That’s because Apotheke has cozied up to three of the world’s best bars (as defined by the renowned World’s 50 Best Bars list) to release scented candles that smell like some of their most prized cocktails.

Attaboy and The NoMad in New York, and Maybe Sammy in Sydney, Australia are the three bars in question.

The NoMad expression is based on their gin gimlet Nod to Nothing cocktail, the scented candle version of which “combines rich notes of bergamot with a whimsical mix of almond, thyme, green leaves, earl grey tea, rose, chamomile, vanilla, and musk for a candle that pays perfect homage to the wizardry and whimsy of the famous NY bar.”

Maybe Sammy’s candle is a jam on an espresso martini, which Apotheke describes as boasting “warm notes of vanilla, vodka, cedar-wood, vetiver, and musk with buzzy notes of espresso inspired by Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur (also roasted and distilled in Australia).”

Lastly, Attaboy’s candle is based around their Penicillin cocktail, which is Scotch-based. It’s described as having “notes of bergamot, lemon blossom, bitter orange, cognac, bourbon, smoked woods, musk, and vanilla.”
