As reported by Eater London, the Hollywood heavyweight had a regular table at The River Café while he was directing Star Wars in London.

As an ode to many a happy meal enjoyed at the high-end Hammersmith-based Italian, which was founded by Ruth Rogers and the late Rose Gray in 1987, Abrams immortalised the restaurant in 520 pieces of Lego.

The Lego set features The River Café’s signature neon pink wood-fired oven, and a figurine of Ruth Rogers dressed in chef whites holding a lobster aloft.

It also features the venue’s aqua flooring, blue seats and white tables. The River Café started life as the staff canteen for Ruth’s husband Richard Rogers’ architectural practice.

According to Eater London, Abrams had told Rogers that he was “creating something special” for her, which she thought might be a film.

Abrams is best known for his Star Wars sequels The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker.
