Beaujolais masterclass in Edinburgh moved to 6 July

A masterclass on the terroirs of Beaujolais in Edinburgh on Monday 23 March has been moved to 6 July.

The event was due to take place from 3-5pm in the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton next Monday, but has been postponed because of concerns regarding the spread of Covid-19.

However, the drinks business can now confirm that this event will now take place at the same time and location on Monday 6 July, and you can register your interest here.

The masterclass, which is called Decoding the terroir of Beaujolais, has been designed to help the trade discover the versatility of the Gamay grape, which reaches its peak expression in the terroirs of Beaujolais.

Hosted by Anne McHale MW, who dedicated her Master of Wine dissertation to Beaujolais wines, the event promises to provide participants with a unique insight into the Beaujolais region.

Please mark the new date in your diaries and please register your interest by clicking here.

Meanwhile, The Bien Boire en Beaujolais (B.B.B) tasting this April has been called off.
