Duck & Waffle hits HK this September

From Bishopsgate to Central, the celebrated restaurant Duck & Waffle is bringing the London midtown experience to Hong Kong this month.

The highly anticipated Duck & Waffle will set foot in Hong Kong this September at IFC mall, Central, making it the first overseas branch of the iconic restaurant.

Sharing the same day to night culinary concept as the original venue in London, Duck & Waffle Hong Kong is designed to welcome guests throughout the day and into the late hours of the night. With a large open space and kitchen, combined with a unique island bar, to create a lively but “intimate” vibe.

Diners will have the opportunity to try the signature Duck & Waffle dish. With over one million plates sold from the London location, the dish embodies the delectable combination of sweet, salty and savoury.

The menu is designed for sharing and offers a take on British cuisine with broad European and American influences. Classics on the menu include the iconic Spiced Ox Cheek Doughnut, inspired by deep frying the traditional Chinese bao, and the breakfast crowd-pleaser Caramelised Banana Waffle loaded with homemade chocolate & hazelnut spread, vanilla ice cream and peanut crunch.

Hong Kong exclusives include the Irish Crab served with puffed nori, oyster mayonnaise and sea vegetables and the sweet and savoury Miso Custard Tart dessert. The innovative food menu is complimented with signature cocktails such as the ‘Duck and Stormy’.

The restaurant has already softly opened but reservations will be only available from mid-September.
