The World Bulk Wine Exhibition 2018 will celebrate 10th anniversary in Amsterdam
The World Bulk Wine Exhibition will celebrate its 10th birthday at this year’s event in Amsterdam.
Focusing 85% of the global supply for bulk wine, the WBWE is considered one of the most important trade shows in the wine sector calendar in terms of business transaction.
The show, which takes place in Amsterdam RAI, is exclusively devoted to wine professionals and is entirely focused on making business. The organisers predict that around €3.5bn will change hands at the show on 26th and 27th November.
The WBWE provides a range of bulk wines and bag-in-box, ranging from wines with designation of origin or protected geographical indication, to wines with varietal denomination, as well as generic expressions designated for blends, or defined to elaborate sparkling or aromatic drinks, such as vermouth.
The capacity of multiple sales contracts, as well as packaging agreements, “confers a very much appreciated exclusivity to this exhibition,” according to an emailed statement.
