CapeWine 2018 trade show is fastest selling on record

This year’s edition of the Wines of South Africa trade show, CapeWine, is the fastest to sell out with over 350 producers securing a spot at the event held in Cape Town.

Taking place from 12 to 14 September and held in South Africa at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the show brings together buyers, importers, trade and media to explore the South African wine industry.

The doors will open at 9am with the lead seminar entitled ‘creating a sustainable future’. Wines of South Africa states that “each of the speakers has been carefully selected to contribute to his theme”.

Speakers include: Rick Tigner, president and chief executive officer, Jackson Family Wines, Charles Back, owner, Fairview and Spice Route wineries, Raymond Ndlovu, co-founder and owner, Black Elephant Vintners, Carina Gous, non-executive chair, Wines of South Africa and John Lucas, managing director, DHL.

Following the opening seminar, there will be four hour-long seminars held throughout the show, as well as ‘Speakers Corner’ sponsored by Amorim.
