Ex-IWSC MD launches ‘Distilling the Dream’

Ewan Lacey, ex-managing director of the International Wine and Spirits Competition, has set up a new programme to help those in the industry turn projects into reality.
Called ‘Distilling the Dream’, the new venture is a 90-day programme designed as an ‘insider’s guide’ to helping those in the industry or those hoping to join in getting projects, principally those involving sales, marketing, PR, social media and commercial strategy, off the ground.
Web-based and focused around twice weekly ‘webinars’ with Lacey, the first course begins this April.
Lacey explained: “As a drinks industry Insider with over 15 years’ experience and a very solid network of contacts, I want to be able to offer the benefit of this those in the Industry, new to the trade or keen on embarking on a career in drinks.
“The idea is to offer a 90 Day programme where members of the drinks industry will be able to pull off a project which will make a fundamental difference to their business.
“Whether they want to grow sales, maximise profits, learn to market like a big brand; establish their network, hone social media strategy or make the next breakthrough in their career or finances this is the opportunity to make it happen.”
