He moved to Hong Kong in 2010 and was assistant head sommelier at the Four Seasons until September 2014 when he took on the role of head sommelier at the Grand Hyatt overseeing its 10 restaurants and bars, including Italian restaurant Grissini, the wildly popular Champagne Bar, Tiffin and the Grand Hyatt steakhouse.

Nizan has now joined Watson’s Wines – Hong Kong’s largest wine retailer – as business development manager, with Watson’s head of wholesale and corporate sales Etienne Paumier, commenting:

“We are pleased to welcome Yves to the team where he will put his skills and knowledge to our clients’ service to further enhance their experience with Watson’s Wine. His sommelier background in some of the most highly regarded tables in the city will be a valuable addition to meet our customers’ ever increasing expectations and we are thrilled to have him on board.”

Nizan also added: “I look forward to continue my career in the wine industry  in a different environment especially with a company that carries such a great portfolio including some of the finest estates in the world.

“I hope to bring my experience in food and beverage as an asset in my new role and I am looking forward to this new challenge.”
