Christmas delights – Beausejour and Angelus 1990

Featuring several back vintages of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tache, 10 lots of Rousseau Chamberton and Clos de Beze, Acker’s Hong Kong sale is chock-full of Burgundy delights from private collections, including further lots of Henri Jayer, Domaine Leflaive, a case of 2002 Dujac Clos de la Roche and magnums of Roumier Musigny.

Elsewhere, there are several magnums of Penfold’s Grange Hermitage, a “significant” collection of Yquem and some rare expressions of Macallan.

Further afield, there are also sizeable collections of Egon Müller, Quintarelli and Gaja, plus a leather case of Moët & Chandon Champagne 1911.

John Kapon, Acker, Merrall and Condit’s Chairman, said: “In tandem with these stellar Burgundies and Bordeaux, are some of the most famous Rhones ever made, in magnums and bottles alike plus some of the greatest Port made long ago in the 1960s and 1970s that are perfect to drink now during these winter months, even in Hong Kong.

“This is a simply wonderful collection that we are very proud and excited to offer.”

Acker, Merrall and Condit’s Hong Kong sale will take place on 10 December at Grissini restaurant, Grand Hyatt.
