Week in pictures: Hong Kong

This week saw the swanky new opening of Dining Concepts’ Alto restaurant, an evening of oysters and Chablis guzzling, a Wine Advocate tasting and a trip to PMQ’s The Drawing Room for dining and er, drawing.

A bounty of bivalves! Huîtres Marennes Oléron and Bourgogne Wine Board hosted a delicious oyster and Chablis pairing at Seafood Room to highlight what must be one of the world’s best thought out food/wine combinations. A particularly crowd-pleasing pair was Domaine Louis Moreau 2008 grand cru twinned with Spéciale de Claire oyster baked with grilled cheese and summer truffle.
