Jebsen Fine Wines takes on Guigal

Hong Kong fine wine company Jebsen has taken on the exclusive importing rights to iconic Rhone producer, Guigal.

The partnership will see the whole range of E.Guigal wines including the famed ‘La La La’s’ of La Mouline, La Turque and La Landonne, distributed to Hong Kong and Macau’s on and off-trade.

Donny Ho, Jebsen Fine Wines’ general manager said: “We are very excited to have the rights to the entire range of Guigal. Guigal is a credible player in the fine wine market and Rhone is garnering a steady following in Hong Kong.”

Guigal was formerly with ASC Fine Wine in Hong Kong but is still distributed by the company in China.

Guigal’s third generation winemaker, Philippe Guigal said: “Hong Kong is a vibrant, highly competitive wine market and it is vitally important to be represented by a well-established and highly respected importer who shares our passion for great Rhone wines and a commitment to the highest levels of customer service.

“We are delighted to be joining the Jebsen portfolio in 2016 and we look forward to a very successful partnership.”

This year, Jebsen Fine Wines is celebrating its 25th anniversary and is planning a series of events throughout 2016 to mark the occasion. Philippe Guigal will also attend this year’s Vinexpo Hong Kong in May where Jebsen Fine Wines plans to host a rare back-vintage dinner.
