WOSA to host two UK seminars

Wines of South Africa, which works to promote over 500 South African wine producers around the world, is to host two UK seminars as part of its Wozani tasting in October.

The two seminars, which are aimed at independent merchants and on-trade buyers, take place on 7th October 2015 at South Africa House, Trafalgar Square, London.

At 1:00pm Tim Atkin MW will present “The Best of South Africa”. Tim is “an expert on the country’s wines, visiting several times a year for his in-depth South Africa Report”, WOSA said.

This seminar provides visitors with a chance to “find out why Tim is so excited about the quality of South African wines” and taste a selection of his highest-rated wines from the 2015 report.

At 3:00pm food and wine matching guru, Fiona Beckett, will present “South African Flavour”, where she will match South African wines to dishes created by Roger Jones of The Harrow at Little Bedwyn. Roger is also a South African wine enthusiast and both he and Fiona will demonstrate “how well suited and versatile South Africa wines are with food”.

Lunch at the event will be created by Roger Jones and the tasting itself runs from 10:00am to 6:30pm.

Visitors can register at www.wosa.co.za/WOZANI/Registration, email Claudia Brown claudia@winesofsa.com or call Wines of South Africa UK on 020 8405 6442. To register for the seminars email daniel@afws.co.uk.
