Top 10 wines in the UK press

Domaine Jean-Marc Burgaud, Morgon, Côte du Py, 2011

Morgon Cote de PyAnd for Sunday lunch Kirby recommends this wine, which he describes as “richly assertive with fabulously deep, dark cherry and plum flavours and a long, savoury finish, it remains freshly mineral on the palate.”

  2. Hi David

I am importing my son-in-law’s Savagnin/Chardonnay blend (grown organically-en conversion- fully AB this year). Patrice is a fellow Arbois /Pupillin producer of the famous Tissots, and also produces unoaked Savagnin- by no means a Marmite wine!- although not yet an oaked. I can obtain either for you. As an importer for the family vineyard, I am not taking any cut myself. Domaine Hughes Beguet is listed on half-a-dozen Michelin-starred wine lists in France and an AA 5 rosette restaurant (Red, white and Rose) in the UK, amongst many others.
