Fine wine for FindWine

Online retailer FindWine has added a fine wine section to its portfolio, including a broad selection of vintages and styles from cult Australian winery Wendouree.

The new range contains over 50 wines and will be rotated on a regular basis. Current highlights include Wendouree Cabernet Sauvignon 1992 and its Cabernet/Malbec from the 1990 vintage. Both are priced at £100.

Blue-chip Bordeaux is also present, with listings such as 1999 Carrudes de Lafite (£185), 1989 Château Mouton Rothschild (£185) and 1982 Château Léoville Barton (£110).

“While the core range will continue to deliver quirky, interesting and unusual wines to our customer base, we also recognise the need to offer our customers the ability to explore some of the real icon wines of the wine world,” said FindWine founder Mike Howes.

“Many of the wines in the Fine Wine portfolio are only available through allocation, or have come from the personal cellar of our wine buyer Martin Jeffery, and are therefore only available in extremely limited quantities,” he added.
