Mail order delivery in 30 mins
A speedy wine mail order merchant has been launched offering customers the possibility of having wines delivered within half an hour of being ordered.
Customers of UK-based BarWines.co.uk will be able to process orders through Twitter or Facebook as well as through more traditional methods.
In order to benefit from the same-day service, customers must order wines before 17.30, the delivery for which will arrive any time between 18.00 and 20.30, according to the York-based merchant.
BarWines, which offers flexible shipping across the UK, currently services customers based exclusively within the York outer ring road, however the company requires no minimum order and makes no delivery charge while also offering a recycling collection service for its customers.
A spokesperson for BarWines said: “BarWines.co.uk is a great service which caters for people always on the go who want to drink good quality wines and don’t have the time to get to the shops.”
