Gallo accessorises with new launch

In a novel attempt to take the bag-in-box wine sector upmarket, and attract female drinkers to the format, Gallo have disguised the square-sided drinks packaging as a handbag.

The new casing will be stocked in 213 UK-based Tesco stores during February and March only.
The limited edition wine box will contain 1.5 litres of White Grenache and has been designed to fit in a fridge. It will retail at £9.49.
