Saint Wine and Cru Wines join forces
Australian fine wine distributors Saint Wine and Cru Wines have formed a new partnership to expand their national footprint, boost customer service and provide stronger representation for their producers.

The agreement, which takes effect on 1 July 2026, will see Cru Wines join the Angel Share Beverage Solutions group.
Despite the move, both companies will continue to operate under their existing brands, maintaining separate portfolios, customer relationships and market positions.
The partnership will allow the businesses to share operational resources and infrastructure while broadening access to domestic and international wine producers for Australian retailers and hospitality venues.
Together, the firms represent winemakers including Hirsch Vineyards, Domaine de la Côte, Bogle Family Vineyards, Williams Selyem, Kistler, Greywacke, Kusuda, Novum, Oraterra and High Garden Vineyard, as well as a diverse range of Australian and European wineries.
Shared philosophy
Saint Wine chief executive Adam Partington said the companies had long admired each other’s work and believed their portfolios and business philosophies were highly complementary.
“We feel our businesses complement each other exceptionally well, are aligned in our love of wine, and share the common goal of continually connecting trade and consumers with the best wines from around the world,” he said.
Partington said adding Cru Wines to the wider group would strengthen its route to market and support continued portfolio growth.
Partner Content
“With strong synergies, partnering together was simply too good an opportunity to pass up,” he added. “We are incredibly excited about what we can achieve together.”
Cru Wines founder Peter Hasko described the partnership as a positive development at a time of challenging market conditions.
“Both companies’ approach to the market is to offer high quality wines and service, and through the integration of our operations – while keeping the individual identities of our businesses – we will offer our customers broader choice, and our suppliers will benefit from wider exposure for their wines in Australia,” he said.
He added that improvements in logistics and operations would strengthen the company’s long-term foundations.
No staffing reshuffle
The companies said there would be no staffing changes as a result of the agreement.
Cru Wines general manager Toby Parker will remain in his current role, while Hasko will join the Angel Share Beverage Solutions board from 1 July.
The partnership is also expected to strengthen Saint Wine’s presence in Victoria through Melbourne-based business development manager Alex Hudak and expand the group’s national customer support capabilities.
