Major investment behind Asahi

Asahi Beer is investing £500,000 in an advertising campaign. The adverts will predominately use images of a rising sun, which is the meaning of the Japanese word asahi. The campaign will run in glossy style magazines and national newspapers, as well as on digital escalator panels in a number of London Underground stations.

The first advert was created by graphic designer Akiko Nakamura and architect Marc Ishikawa. Other adverts in the series have been designed by students at Central St Martins and the London College of Communications. The campaign, which will launch nationally on the 16th of June, has been created with advertising agency Hooper Galton.
