New MD at Louis Jadot

Burgundy’s Maison Louis Jadot has appointed a new managing director.

Dominique Mounier joins the producer from French cosmetics company Bourjois, which is part of the Chanel Group. Mounier spent nine years at the firm, six of which he spent as general manager of Bourjois Benelux, in Brussels. Prior to that, he had worked on a range of assignments for Mars in France and the Balkans.

Mounier – who speaks French, German and English fluently and is apparently a keen rider and skier – will work alongside Jacques Lardière, the technical director of Louis Jadot. Mounier will oversee the management of the company, while Lardière will remain in charge of the Louis Jadot wines, the domaines and winemaking team. Both Mounier and Lardière will report to Pierre-Henry Gagey, president of Maison Louis Jadot.

“I am delighted to welcome Dominique to Louis Jadot. He has an impressive knowledge of international markets and will be a real asset to Louis Jadot. I look forward to working closely with Dominique on all aspects of the Jadot portfolio,” said Gagey.
