Milos brings Greek summer in a glass to Mayfair

A new collection of Greek-inspired spritzes is being introduced across estiatorio Milos restaurants in the US and UK as the restaurant group looks to capture the spirit of a Mediterranean summer.

Estiatorio Milos has launched Meet Me at Milos, a new cocktail campaign featuring a collection of Greek island-inspired spritzes alongside a light aperitivo menu across its restaurants in New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Palm Beach and London.

The campaign draws inspiration from the Greek islands of Naxos, Mykonos, Kythira, Symi and the Aegean, with each spritz built around citrus, botanicals and herbs native to the region. According to the restaurant group, the menu reflects its ingredient-driven philosophy and the same focus on seasonality that underpins its approach to Greek cuisine.

Founded in Montréal in 1979, estiatorio Milos has built its reputation on Greek gastronomy centred on “pristine sourcing, disciplined simplicity, and the warmth of philoxenia”.

Greek summer inspiration

The new drinks programme is designed to evoke the atmosphere of a Greek summer, with the company describing it as an invitation to gather rather than simply dine.

“At its core, Meet Me at Milos romanticizes the feeling of a Greek summer escape. The sun-washed coastlines, slow meals, fresh fish, clinking glasses at golden hour, and the sense of time slowing down, all without needing to board a plane,” the company said.

It added that, with travel costs continuing to rise, the experience offers guests “an accessible way to tap into that effortless Greek summer feeling closer to home”.

The accompanying aperitivo menu includes dishes such as oysters, octopus crostini and salmon tartare.

The five signature spritzes each take inspiration from a different destination. Naxos combines mastiha, yuzu, Amalia Brut and Roots Divino Bianco with fresh oregano and lemon, while Kythira blends Mezcal Vida, St-Germain, Otto’s Vermouth, peach purée, honey syrup, Amalia Brut and club soda.

The Mykonos serve mixes Dobel Blanco, watermelon juice, Aperol, fresh lime juice, mint syrup and Amalia Rosé. Symi features Votanikon Gin, grapefruit juice, Italicus, limoncello, Amalia Brut and club soda, while the Aegean cocktail combines ginger beer, Luxardo, fresh lemon juice, Kydonitsa wine, Mastiqua Pink Grapefruit and club soda.

London adds Greek Sunday Roast

Alongside the cocktail launch, estiatorio Milos London has introduced a Greek Sunday Roast, inspired by the tradition of Greek family gatherings.

Available every Sunday from 12pm to 4pm from 21 June, beginning with Father’s Day, the menu centres on pit roast spring lamb served with oven baked potatoes and is accompanied by a selection of salads, house-made spreads and Greek classics.

The offering includes dishes such as Milos Special, tarama with Avgotaraho, tzatziki, Greek salad, spanakopita, kefalotyri saganaki, gigantes, kolokithokeftedes and grilled loukaniko, alongside a chef’s selection platter for a minimum of two guests.
